About the role
- Designer produit principal chez Shakepay, qui réinvente les services financiers et l’épargne Bitcoin au Canada. Conception, prototypage codé et livraison d’expériences web et mobiles.
Responsibilities
- Own product features end to end, from understanding the problem through experience design, writing front-end code, and delivering to users
- Replace static mockups with functional prototypes to quickly validate ideas through customer feedback
- Drive design-led development in a fixed-time, variable-scope environment
- Collaborate closely with backend and core engineering teams to create meaningful impact
- Rapidly deliver polished, production-ready experiences
- Evolve the design system and component libraries across mobile and web platforms
- Help designers ship code and integrate AI tools into their workflows
- Raise the organization’s speed, autonomy, and technical depth
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering products with responsibility for both design and code implementation
- Experience with technologies such as React Native, Node.js, TypeScript, or Vue.js
- Portfolio showcasing live products designed and built by the candidate
- Likely to use AI tools to prototype, iterate, and accelerate workflows
- Strong product sense and a sharp eye for quality
- Deep understanding of the constraints and possibilities of modern front-end development
- Ability to create performant, scalable, and maintainable solutions
- Builder mindset and ability to see work through to completion with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and technical trade-offs
- Passion for Bitcoin, financial empowerment, and the future of money
- Fluency in English required
