Responsibilities
Collaborate with teams to identify relevant data sources and gather necessary data.
Clean, transform, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analysis.
Work with stakeholders to determine reporting needs that enable data-driven decisions.
Develop dashboards, charts, reports, and other visualizations to clearly present findings.
Automate recurring reports and data visualizations where possible to increase efficiency.
Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and offer data-driven recommendations.
Apply statistical techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights and forecasts.
Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to support business objectives.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover new insights and opportunities.
Define and maintain a "source of truth" for data, ensuring consistency across teams.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies or anomalies.
Provide recommendations to business teams and management based on analysis to support actionable solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis.
Proactively suggest improvements to processes and ways to enhance data analysis efficiency.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including analysts, managers, and directors, to gather requirements and offer analytical support.
Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics)
3+ years of working with PowerBI to create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards
Demonstrated 4+ years of data-driven decision-making experience
Strong T-SQL, Python, PySpark, or R skills with the ability to write complex queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases
Experience with Google Analytics/GA4 an asset
Experience creating surveys and knowledge of Question Design best practices
Experience with standard and advanced data analysis techniques such as regression, trend lines, forecasting, modeling, clustering, Hypothesis Testing, Content Analysis and Narrative Analysis
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
