About the role
- Sr. Service Technician commissioning and performing maintenance on SolBank Storage Power Block. Requires background in Electrical Engineering and experience in renewable energy systems.
Responsibilities
- Commission CSI Energy Storage’s SolBank Storage Power Block
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
- Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment
- Oversee and supervise sub-contractors on site when required
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
- Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed
- Analyze performance data determining root cause and performance trends
Requirements
- Educational background in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- At least 5 years' of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy
- Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and photovoltaic or Energy Storage system applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Previous experience with a CMMS software program is preferred
- Ability to travel to regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time)
