About the role

Senior BI Developer leveraging Power BI for enterprise business intelligence solutions at SCIEX. Driving analytics, designing data processes, and mentoring teams for operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Drive the analytics function for the GCOE team, acting as a liaison with business users and technical resources for complex data projects.
Design data modeling processes to create algorithms and predictive models, perform custom analysis on SCIEX data, and present insights using data visualization techniques.
Lead data initiatives end-to-end, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, implementation, validation, and stakeholder enablement (training and documentation).
Coach and mentor analysts and developers in building advanced data models, reports, and analytical solutions, while promoting strong development standards, critical thinking, and continuous improvement.
Evaluate, recommend, and help implement modern technologies and methods for data integration, modeling, analytics, and performance optimization.

Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Technology, Business, or similar discipline.
5+ years of experience developing enterprise business intelligence and analytics solutions using Power BI, including complex data models and advanced DAX measures.
Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas) for large-scale data manipulation, transformation, and optimization, with experience using GitHub for version control.
Proficiency in SQL and Azure Data Studio for data extraction, validation, and analytical problem-solving.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to operate independently in a global corporate environment while delivering a high level of customer service.
