About the role

IT Analyst supporting DealMaker’s online capital-raising fintech platform. Managing IT support, device infrastructure, automation, and security compliance in a hybrid Toronto role.

Responsibilities

Own the IT ticket queue and act as the first point of contact for IT requests
Troubleshoot office infrastructure and end-user issues across Mac and Windows devices
Grow into maintaining and owning IT requests with security implications
Help ensure systems meet compliance, security, and regulatory requirements
Bring security and compliance decisions to the Director with clear context
Maintain and build documentation so the work is repeatable and audit evidence is easy to find
Automate repeatable work to cut manual effort and errors
Work directly with the Director of IT & Information Security and learn how IT operations, security, and compliance fit together

Early-career IT experience, such as help desk, IT support, a co-op, or an internship
Curious and eager to build skills in IT operations, security, and compliance
Comfortable troubleshooting macOS and Windows, Google Workspace, Slack and other enterprise tools
Skills or understanding of automation languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Strong written communication and the habit of documenting your work
Good judgment about when to fix something and when to escalate
Problem solver who recognizes issues on their own and takes the first steps to fix them, without waiting to be asked
Organized and dependable on recurring work that nobody chases you for
Able to work from our Toronto office
Relevant diploma, degree, or certification (CompTIA A+, Security+, or similar)
