Back-End Developer creating scalable backend systems focused on rules engine implementation in Snowflake for Deloitte client. Developing robust Python-based services and ensuring data integrity and performance.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
Support the setup, configuration and optimisation of a new rules engine within Snowflake
Develop and maintain backend applications using Python
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless API integration
Optimise application performance, scalability, and security
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in architectural decisions and technical design discussions

Proven experience in backend development
Strong Python development skills
Experience working with Snowflake, including configuration and data modelling is essential
Solid understanding of API design (RESTful services)
Experience working with databases and data-driven systems
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
