We are hiring an SAP Project Manager / SAP Data Analytics Lead for a hybrid role in Mississauga, ON, requiring 2 days/week in the office.
About the role
- Senior Pricing and Legal Project Management Specialist at Dentons supporting pricing lifecycle and developing budget strategies. High visibility with partners shaping firm's pricing strategies across practice areas.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Canada Director, Pricing & Legal Project Management
- Supporting partners across the full pricing lifecycle
- Developing matter budgets and Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFAs)
- Monitoring budget-to-actuals and matter profitability for ongoing matters
- Developing pricing-related reporting for firm leadership
- Acting as a trusted advisor to partners on pricing, scoping, and budget management
- Delivering training and coaching to lawyers on commercial pricing concepts
- Building relationships with key client contacts in procurement and legal operations
- Conducting post-matter reviews and feeding lessons learned back into pricing methodology
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in legal pricing, legal finance, legal operations, or a related commercial role
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline
- Understanding of law firm economics, including realization, leverage, and matter profitability concepts
- Demonstrated experience designing and managing budgets and AFAs in a law firm or in-house legal environment
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience working with legal practice management systems (e.g. Elite 3E, Intapp, Aderant, Fulcrum SAP, etc.) and BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
