About the role
- Agile Delivery Manager overseeing application and technology projects at Desjardins, a leading cooperative financial group. Combining application delivery management and scrum master responsibilities to meet objectives and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Plan deliverables for the application and technology component.
- Estimate project costs, taking into account issues, complexity, practitioners and tie-ins with other projects.
- Supervise and coordinate contributors involved in application and tech delivery.
- Ensure team performance and quality control and identify project-specific standards, methods and procedures.
- Coordinate all deliverables for the application and technology component to ensure business objectives and priorities are met and agreements, budgets and timelines are respected.
- Ensure availability of the application layer of infrastructure platforms.
- Analyze risks and impacts for projects and develop strategies to address them to manage application and technological risk levels.
- Work with the project manager to manage change requests, solution testing and strategies for the application component.
- Support the scrum team in the implementation and use of the agile approach on major projects.
- Build and support the project scrum team and lead meetings.
- Ensure the product/process owner and execution team properly understand and fulfill their respective roles.
- Ensure the scrum team is functional, productive and well organized.
- Ensure the squad follows the agile method, tools and values.
- Identify and track performance indicators.
- Share information on project progress.
- Address and follow up on obstacles faced by the project team.
- Ensure tasks in the sprint dashboard match product backlog commitments.
- Help the product owner maximize the return on investment, meet objectives and manage the product backlog.
- Handle quality control for the product backlog and meetings (sprint planning meeting, maintenance and product backlog estimation sessions, and sprint review).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Experience in IT project management
- Knowledge of French is required
- Strong command of SAFe and Agile work methods
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
