About the role
- Investment Banking Analyst supporting Desjardins Capital Markets’ real estate team. Building valuations, researching industries, and preparing transaction proposals and client presentations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing proposals to clients and potential clients for equity and debt placements, mergers, asset or company divestitures or acquisitions, and other financial products and advisory services
- Prepare financial modeling, mainly focusing on valuation work through comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow analysis and other metrics as appropriate
- Prepare quantitative and qualitative data analysis and industry research
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for use in client meetings
- Join Desjardins’ Capital Markets’ Investment Banking Group real estate team in Toronto
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering or other related fields OR Current enrollment or completion of the CFA program
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
