About the role

  • Product Owner responsible for ensuring member/client experience and managing project development in a leading Canadian financial group. Collaborating with various stakeholders and coaching product owners for strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the voice of the client in projects and be responsible for the member/client experience
  • Prepare a range of products and services to ensure a positive member/client experience
  • Work in close collaboration with the project developer and business analyst to ensure the solution meets user needs
  • Manage relationships with the project’s various stakeholders
  • Lead and influence squads’ specialists and various stakeholders as part of planning and development projects
  • Contribute to developing and recommending strategic orientations and business positioning
  • Make recommendations on the development and delivery of files and projects involving a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity
  • Identify and analyze problems, raise any major issues, develop diagnostics and make recommendations regarding business solutions and key market-development strategies and tactics
  • Coach other product owners
  • Represent your unit in dealings with senior management committees and decision-making bodies
  • Represent Desjardins when negotiating and committing to agreements with partners and external organizations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with english-speaking partners, members and/or clients
