About the role

  • VMware (NSX) System Administrator providing technical support and infrastructure management for Desjardins. Involves installation, configuration, and collaboration for system stability and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized technical support for IT incidents reported by users
  • Carry out installation, configuration and upgrade activities for equipment or software
  • Analyze issues, conduct the necessary research, diagnose and document problems
  • Resolve incidents or handle service requests according to established standards
  • Identify and communicate improvement opportunities and implement these changes
  • Collaborate on developing tools to increase the efficiency, performance, security and stability of IT environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French required
  • Intermediate knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of VMware NSX
  • Knowledge of the vSphere suite
  • Knowledge of vRealize suite tools (Operations, Log Insight, Automation, etc.)
  • Knowledge of various telecommunications components
  • Knowledge of Lenovo and HPE servers and their management tools
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms
