About the role

  • Career Counselor providing bilingual virtual career counseling for Dialogue’s Canadian online healthcare platform. Assessing clients and delivering short-term career planning guidance and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly assess clients' situations
  • Offer short-term guidance during an initial meeting and follow-up meetings, including assistance in career planning and development
  • Develop and provide resources and tools according to the client's needs
  • Help clients figure out their career path through individual counseling
  • Work closely with Sarine Moumdjian, Manager Member Services
  • Participate in Dialogue's multidisciplinary team

Requirements

  • Comfortable in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Member of the Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d'orientation du Québec (OCCOQ)
  • Part time availability of 21 hours/week min.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a career counselor
  • Experience working in a remote environment or openness to remote work
  • Experience working with adult clientele is an asset
