About the role

  • Junior 3D Modeling & Geomatics Specialist helping to transform spatial data into digital models for telecommunication projects. Collaborating with teams to support critical infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Processing point cloud and geomatics data collected through field operations and technical mapping programs
  • Creating and digitizing 3D infrastructure models used to support aerial telecommunications analysis
  • Supporting infrastructure modeling for telecommunications and utility-related projects
  • Reviewing and validating spatial data to ensure models accurately reflect real-world conditions
  • Working across multiple project programs simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Supporting continuous improvement in technical workflows and data quality practices

Requirements

  • University, college, or technical school graduate in: GIS / Geomatics, Geography, Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial), Remote Sensing, Spatial Data Science or a related technical discipline
  • Experience or exposure to any of the following is considered an asset: GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS), CAD or technical software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, FME, or similar), LiDAR, photogrammetry, UAV mapping, or point cloud environments, Geospatial analysis or spatial visualization workflows, Data processing and quality assurance
