- Senior Automation Developer at Ford Motor Company focusing on In Vehicle Infotainment software automation development. Leading test coverage implementation and design for high profile products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of test methods and automation scripts for requirements verification purposes
- Develop automation libraries and test scripts to deliver effective test coverage
- Use Test Management tools for test planning creation, execution, monitoring and reporting of Test Results
- Use defect management tools for defect creation, and monitoring of resolution
- Fully understand, apply, and contribute to the improvement of Ford Standards and tools for pipeline development
- Follow and promote code artisanship best practices, quality and security standards
- Understand and apply industry Software Quality Assurance standards (ASPICE, ISTQB, ASAM, INCOSE, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
- 8+ years of advanced professional experience with Software / Requirements Verifications projects
- 5+ years of professional experience implementing test and automation strategies and designing test strategies
- Availability to work in office four days a week
- Extensive Experience on Requirements Engineering or Electrical Architecture or Software Architectures or Functional Architectures
- Effectively uses Software configuration management systems (source control, DevSecOps, CI/CD)
- Experience with multiple tech stacks including QNX, and Android Automotive
- Effectively lead agile teams and demonstrated success creating evolutionary Design Verification architectures and Automation Frameworks
- Experience in modern software development methodology
