About the role
- AI founder exploring physical-asset finance and monitoring ventures with Forum's B2B SaaS studio. Building, validating, and launching companies using live IoT and asset-performance data.
Responsibilities
- Explore and develop a venture-backed company in the physical asset finance and monitoring space
- Build a business around persistent asset identity, real-time condition/utilization/performance data, dynamic collateral valuation, or usage-based financing and insurance
- Work with Forum AI Studio to validate the concept and unlock the ideal customer profile
- Develop the product and MVP needed to achieve early traction
- Execute a go-to-market strategy targeting $50-100K ARR
- Attract, hire, and lead a world-class team
- Collaborate with Forum's operating team across business design, product development, growth, recruitment, legal, and fundraising
Requirements
- Early-stage operator experience with a proven track record of building, selling, and navigating the physical asset finance and monitoring world
- Experience underwriting equipment finance, asset-backed lending, or commercial credit, or building IoT, telemetry, or appraisal products
- Ability to attract, hire, and lead world-class teams
- Demonstrated passion for technology's ability to change the world
- Desire to be a venture-backed founder
- Must be Canada or US-based
- Ability to collaborate in North American time zones
