Responsibilities
Provide project leadership on smaller projects and/or manage elements and functions within larger projects under the direct supervision of higher level, project manager
Prepare project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives
Utilize approved project management methods and processes to execute low risk projects of existing technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations
Provide primary interface between project team, management and client
Develop assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project
Coordinate multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizes team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance
Define and forecast needed skills to meet project objectives
Manage the timely issuance and payment of customer invoices
Utilize existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies
Actively participate in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.
Must obtain Framatome specific Project Management Certification upon hire.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Knowledge of the project management development plan, implementation and administration
Business and/or technical expertise in a related technical or professional capacity
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers
Good problem identification and problem resolution skills with emphasis on 'root cause' analysis
Excellent report development and presentation skills.
