About the role
- Engineering Manager leading the Core Payments pod at Fullscript, overseeing payment systems and collaborating across teams to enhance checkout experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional Product Engineering pod responsible for payments
- Collaborate across Fullscript’s engineering org as a technical authority for payments-related decisions
- Own the checkout experience end to end, from cart to confirmation
- Design and maintain integrations with payment processing platforms such as Stripe
- Build and evolve connections to financial systems and fulfillment platforms
- Ensure payment flows are secure, auditable, and highly reliable
- Balance feature delivery with the operational rigor required for revenue-critical systems
Requirements
- Experience leading payment or transaction-critical systems
- Understanding of payment integrations such as Stripe or similar platforms
- Comfort moving between technical and people management scope
- Strong judgment in high-reliability, high-stakes environments
- Proven ability to partner closely with finance and operations stakeholders
