About the role
- Engineering Manager leading a Patient Experience team focused on building patient-facing tools. Collaborating with Product and Design to enhance user experiences using React Native.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small cross-functional Product Engineering pod focused on patient experience
- Partner closely with Product and Design to deliver polished, intuitive user experiences
- Contribute hands-on technical leadership across React Native and fullstack systems
- Guide technical decision-making while supporting the growth and development of engineers
- Participate in system design, implementation planning, and delivery execution
- Balance product iteration speed with long-term maintainability and quality
- Foster strong collaboration across engineering, product, and design disciplines
Requirements
- Experience building modern product experiences using React Native and/or fullstack web technologies
- Strong frontend engineering fundamentals and product instincts
- Previous experience building ecommerce and understanding mobile applications.
- Experience working closely with design teams and design systems
- Interest in or early experience with people leadership and team development
- Comfort operating in a hands-on technical environment while growing management responsibilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
