Responsibilities
Own VFX end-to-end on our indie game
Design and implement stylized VFX
Develop and evolve key shaders
Build a modular library for the team
Collaborate with engineering, design, audio, and art
Audit the current state of VFX and shaders
Requirements
Owned tech art and VFX work end-to-end in an engine
Experience with implementation and cross-discipline iteration
Knowledge of debugging and final integration processes
Establish consistent workflows for VFX and shaders
Ability to communicate clearly across disciplines
Experience in providing mentorship and collaboration
