About the role

  • GE Aerospace customer contract manager leading LM2500 naval fleet sustainment, Defense liaison, and contract performance. Managing MRO planning, vendors, spares, training, and program governance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre- and post-contract administration, including contract terms and conditions, claims management, risk modeling, and contract estimating for tenders and program reviews
  • Own In Service Support Contract productivity strategy and execution for LM2500 fleet sustainment
  • Provide technical leadership and program governance for LM2500 fleet sustainment activities
  • Own contract cost oversight, forecasting, and planning
  • Serve as primary programmatic liaison with Defense stakeholders
  • Lead contract performance reporting, dashboards, status visibility, and risk mitigation communication
  • Maintain Defense budget awareness and support long-range fleet coordination
  • Lead LM2500 maintenance, repair, and overhaul planning and act as engineering liaison between depot management and Naval Defense contracting
  • Manage vendor contracts and subcontractor component repair activity
  • Lead engine life management, tracking, and sustainment analytics
  • Coordinate technical execution and sustainment decisions among the Royal Canadian Navy, GE Aerospace, and licensed MRO resources
  • Develop and manage customer training programs
  • Lead spares and materiel forecasting, control, procurement, and reporting
  • Lead program updates for internal leadership and structured governance across priorities, risks, and actions
  • Analyze contract trends, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions
  • Ensure integrity, controllership, compliance, and operational excellence across contract management activities

Requirements

  • Must be a Canadian resident
  • Must be able to provide academic qualifications, years of experience, and the number/description of Defense projects completed, including references demonstrating where/when/how requirements are met
  • Five (5) years’ experience in the last ten (10) years as a program manager of LM2500 Gas Turbine Assembly maintenance support of at least $5M CAD in value; different contracts of at least $3M CAD each may be used as proof, and current PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification maintained during tenure; OR ten (10) years’ experience in the last fifteen (15) years as a project/program manager of a defense contract in engineering or maintenance support at the gas turbine propulsion system level of at least $5M CAD in value; different contracts of at least $3M CAD per year may be used as proof
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Strong LM2500 technical background specializing in marine propulsion or power generation field service, naval marine engineering service, or merchant navy experience
  • Possession of a Canadian Defense Security Clearance (NV1) or ability to obtain such a clearance is mandatory
  • For non-U.S. Persons, ability to obtain U.S. Government authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information
