Responsibilities
Manage multiple technical projects focused on data orchestration and artificial intelligence in complex, highly regulated environments for multiple clients simultaneously, while fully understanding client functional requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Domain Experts, Developers, AI, Quality, and Compliance) to define project scope, schedules, and resource needs
Develop and maintain schedules, Gantt charts, and resource allocation plans
Coordinate and manage dependencies across projects and teams to ensure smooth tracking, and anticipate and address change requests and potential delays
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including executive team members, to ensure alignment and visibility into project progress
Identify and mitigate risks, escalate issues promptly, and propose solutions to technical complexities
Work with engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and develop detailed project plans
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and make recommendations for future resource allocation
Support the sales cycle by participating in client needs and priority meetings to develop high-value proposals for prospective and existing GenAIz clients
Contribute to the evolution of GenAIz’s product offering by reporting potential gaps raised by clients during project delivery to the Product teams
Propose solutions to establish the structure necessary to execute work effectively
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
5+ years of experience managing technical projects, with a focus on AI/ML or software engineering projects
Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality
Strong understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and ability to adapt to changing requirements
Experience with project management tools
Knowledge of artificial intelligence, data science practices, and software engineering methodologies (e.g., DevOps)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
Strong client relationship development and management skills
Experience in an AI startup or similar environment
Bilingual in English and French
