About the role
- Senior Technical Project Manager advising Fortune 500 clients on Akamai’s cloud, edge, and security platform. Managing technical integrations, web performance, security strategies, and customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with an integrated accounts team to evaluate customer web architecture and deliver the best integration solution
- Ensure customer success through best practice guidance and develop a long-term customer web performance and security strategy
- Partner with the business to review and ensure integration efficiency, deliver high-quality service, and foster customer relationships
- Participate in internal projects to contribute to best practices and improve methodology and integration quality
- Act as an end-to-end trusted advisor to customers
- Manage customer engagement and technical solutions on the Akamai platform
- Build close customer relationships and tackle complex internet challenges
Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry
- Experience managing and delivering large technical customer projects successfully
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Experience with web technologies and languages such as HTTP or DNS
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to articulate highly technical information in a clear and comprehensive manner
