About the role

  • Senior Director of Product Management at Genetec leading product organization through growth phases. Focusing on execution, team building, and impact in a B2B environment.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a results- and impact-focused product management culture
  • Establish and enforce scalable product management processes, outcome-focused frameworks, agile delivery, and post-launch optimization
  • Ensure structure and discipline throughout the product lifecycle (planning, prioritization, execution, delivery)
  • Implement measurable performance metrics that provide insight into the product team’s impact and effectiveness
  • Lead, coach, and advance the product management team, raising its maturity and performance
  • Identify skill gaps, then develop and mentor the team to strengthen capabilities
  • Develop and communicate a portfolio strategy aligned with business objectives, an innovation culture, and market needs
  • Ensure commercial success through a clear understanding of the market and competitive landscape, industry and technology trends, and the partner ecosystem
  • Drive and measure product success with a value-creation and market-problem-solving mindset
  • Act as a trusted advisor and effective communicator to the executive team
  • Translate complex product roadmaps and initiatives into business outcomes and revenue forecasts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams

Requirements

  • Approximately 20 years of experience in product management, including in leadership roles
  • Proven ability to implement product management processes and operating frameworks
  • Experience building product teams within organizations of similar size
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time
  • Strong experience in B2B and technology environments
  • Experience managing a subscription product portfolio
  • Engineering education (a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to align with executive expectations
  • Experience with pragmatic marketing principles (a plus)
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (this role requires interactions with our international colleagues and customers)
