About the role

  • Fleet Administrator supporting GFL’s waste-management operations through vendor coordination, purchase orders, invoices, work orders, and maintenance administration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain filing systems
  • Create purchase orders and submit invoices to vendors
  • Perform general office duties
  • Support business units with maintenance entries, parts administration and vendor management
  • Answer and transfer incoming calls
  • Support and/or open and process work orders, including month-end closure and reconciliation of open work orders
  • Serve as a point of contact for maintenance vendors
  • Provide administrative support to various business units

Requirements

  • Business administration diploma, certificate or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Great work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to use multiple systems such as OMS, Workday, Agile, Enablon and Google
  • Valid work authorization in Canada; GFL does not provide visa sponsorship
