About the role

  • Embedded Systems Engineer developing and optimizing embedded control boards and software for logistics products. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining compliance with quality standards in a dynamic growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test and maintain software for embedded systems (C, C++)
  • Design software solutions within RTOS-based systems
  • Design low-voltage control circuits
  • Troubleshoot bugs and perform validation testing on hardware prototypes
  • Write and maintain clear, precise technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Prepare specifications and requirements documents
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop new products
  • Support after-sales service in resolving customer issues
  • Perform diagnostics in industrial environments
  • Build prototypes and run tests during experimental phases

Requirements

  • University degree in electronic engineering or a related field
  • At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in PCB development (Altium, KiCad)
  • Experience in electronic schematic design
  • Proven experience in embedded systems development (minimum 10 years)
  • Proficiency with version control tools (Git)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and hardware/software optimization abilities
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers (Microchip, ST) and real-time operating systems (RTOS) (asset)
  • Experience with 600V power design (asset)
  • Experience with Linux operating systems (asset)
  • Experience with Modbus/RS485, TCP/IP, UART (asset)
  • Experience with wireless communication protocols (LoRaWAN, Wi‑Fi, ZigBee, LTE, NB‑IoT) (asset)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards (asset)
  • Experience developing IoT applications (asset)
  • Experience with databases, including MQTT brokers, InfluxDB and SQL (asset)
