About the role

  • Product Designer driving product design and user experience at a rapidly growing fintech startup. Collaborating across teams to create intuitive solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design of product features and initiatives, from conceptualization to high-fidelity execution.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to define product requirements and design solutions that meet both user needs and business goals.
  • Conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to iterate and improve design solutions.
  • Designing for both web and mobile, with a focus on creating intuitive and delightful user experiences across devices.
  • Owning and evolving the visual and interaction design of the product, ensuring high-quality, pixel-perfect designs.
  • Leading design reviews and presenting design concepts to stakeholders across the company.
  • Supporting others around you, championing the company values with a positive outlook.
  • Responding effectively and respectfully to various working conditions with a growth mindset.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional design experience.
  • Mastery in Figma and other applicable design software.
  • Relevant experience with different design methods and techniques.
  • An online or PDF portfolio (please include any passwords).
  • Previous experience working in a Fintech startup or designing for marketplaces. (Preferred)
  • Previous experience facilitating research and user testing. (Preferred)
  • Ability to adapt well in quickly changing environments. (Preferred)
