About the role

  • Project Manager for Hitachi Energy managing transformer service projects related to maintenance and life-extension. Collaborating with engineering and logistics teams while ensuring project quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple transformer service projects, including maintenance and life-extension activities
  • Ensure high-quality project execution across engineering, logistics planning, and on-site service phases
  • Act as the primary client point of contact from order handover through project closeout
  • Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, including expense forecasting
  • Create detailed project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure smooth delivery
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure project progress and alignment
  • Ensure consistent project delivery in accordance with internal processes
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in transformer services or related fields (manufacturing, engineering design, or plant project management)
  • Experience with transformer substations and/or large power transformers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective client relationships
  • Proficiency in French and English
  • Vocational training, college diploma, or university degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical)
