About the role

Responsibilities
- Identify and implement codebase improvements to enable AI agents to work faster and more safely.
- Collaborate with a team of senior engineers in an agile, trust-based environment with high autonomy.
- Drive decisions and build consensus asynchronously by leveraging AI to write rigorous documentation and specifications.
- Deliver fast. Learn fast. Repeat. Orchestrate AI agents to build new features end-to-end (from UX to database) with minimal supervision.
- Design scalable solutions and foundational models that allow us to efficiently launch new portals.
- Work directly with product managers (PMs) and business partners to define our roadmap; your voice and technical vision matter.
- Collaborate with a diverse team, giving and receiving the feedback necessary for your professional growth.
Requirements
- A natural propensity to dive fearlessly into an unfamiliar codebase while keeping the end goal in sight to deliver results quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to lead AI agents and automated workflows to design, implement, and maintain complex software systems with minimal human intervention.
- Expertise in designing technical guardrails and automated feedback loops that maximize AI agent productivity and reliability.
- A sharp product mindset, where your conception of quality and architecture is intrinsically rooted in the customer experience.
- Experience (or a strong willingness to learn) in developing distributed systems in Scala.
