About the role
- Billing Specialist processing policy billing and resolving invoice discrepancies for HUB, a global insurance brokerage. Supporting clients, brokers, and carriers from Lethbridge or Calgary branch locations.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage billing transactions for assigned policies
- Ensure timely and accurate collection of invoices
- Work with clients, brokers, and insurance carriers to resolve billing issues and discrepancies
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities
- Support a diverse team and contribute to a team environment
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 education, or equivalent is required
- Level 1 license or willingness to obtain is required
- Minimum one year customer service experience
- Motivated to help support a diverse team and contribute to a team environment
- Pro-active and a self-starter with keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication
- Works well in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems
- Required experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience
