About the role

  • Group Retirement Consultant managing retirement-plan clients and growing Prairie Region business for HUB, a Canadian insurance and benefits brokerage. Guiding members through financial decisions and developing cross-sell opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow relationships with existing group retirement clients, serving as their trusted go-to for navigating their plans
  • Hunt for new business and build a strong pipeline across the Prairie Region
  • Guide plan members through key financial decisions, including plan exits and financial assistance requests
  • Partner with consultants and commercial lines salespeople to create cross-sell opportunities and a robust pipeline across the region
  • Plug into the larger HUB Canada Group Retirement Team and help shape where this business goes next

Requirements

  • LLQP Certification required
  • RPA or CEBS designation is an asset
  • 3+ years of experience in the group retirement industry
  • Motivated self-starter who takes initiative and brings attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Proficiency with Windows-based systems
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
