About the role

  • Financial Solutions Consultant providing personalized financial guidance to clients in Canada. Helping clients build long-term financial well-being through informed financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a trusted financial resource for members of group retirement and savings plans by providing personalized financial advice.
  • Encouraging early engagement and increased contribution rates so members can fully benefit from employer matching and tax advantages.
  • Promoting the consolidation of external assets into group plans to simplify financial management and support asset growth.
  • Supporting members approaching retirement by helping them understand their retirement income options.
  • Assisting clients during key life events by providing basic financial guidance tailored to their situation.
  • Leveraging customer relationship management (CRM) tools and data to track engagement and identify targeted opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with support teams to ensure operational efficiency and the successful delivery of special projects.

Requirements

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or any other relevant field.
  • Has at least two years of experience in financial advisory services, wealth management, or a similar role in the financial services industry.
  • Is recognized for the ability to simplify complex financial concepts and make them accessible to a diverse client base.
  • Stands out for strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to build trust and manage a high volume of clients and interactions effectively.
  • Is known for autonomy, organizational skills, and a strong team spirit.
  • Has an advanced level of proficiency in English, as the role requires daily communication with internal stakeholders and English-speaking clients across Canada via email and phone.
  • Fluent in French both oral and written
