Clinical Project Manager overseeing oncology cellular therapy trials for ICON, a global clinical research organisation. Managing clients, cross-functional teams, vendors, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and risks.
Responsibilities
Oversee the whole project or a portfolio of projects
Act as the primary liaison to clients, ensuring questions are answered and issues are resolved
Work with other project leaders and vendors to keep projects running at optimal quality, on time, and on budget
Manage all project deliverables with financial acumen and a risk mitigation mindset
Lead and direct cross-functional team leaders and third parties/vendors
Manage project contractual deliverables, including progress metrics and adherence to contractual time, quality/scope, and cost requirements
Participate in and attend the bid defense process
Provide feedback on project team members’ performance to respective line managers
Maintain detailed understanding of each functional service area and lead multifaceted functional teams
Develop detailed analyses and projections of project timelines and financials for senior and customer management
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical research within a CRO
Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job responsibilities
Undergraduate degree in a clinical, science, or health-related field preferred
Licensed healthcare professional, such as a registered nurse, preferred
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience leading Oncology cellular therapy clinical trials strongly preferred
English fluency, including the ability to read, write, and speak, required
Travel of up to 25% required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada
Must not require now or in the future sponsorship for employment visa status

Ability to manage project deliverables, timelines, financials, contractual requirements, risks, and cross-functional teams
