About the role

  • Project Manager coordinating clinical research projects at ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization. Leading teams, managing budgets, mitigating risks, and delivering projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project and program management delivery
  • Resolve project issues and develop team capability
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate efforts to meet project objectives
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement strategies to address challenges
  • Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide updates
  • Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business, or a related field is preferred
  • Significant experience in project management and team leadership
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering results within scope, time, and budget constraints
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 30%)
  • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certifications are advantageous
