About the role
- Junior IT Systems Administrator at Ideal Siding supporting IT operations and WordPress technical support. Responsible for hands-on IT administration and website troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day IT operations, user support, CRM administration, SaaS tools, and technical support of WordPress websites.
- Troubleshoot, document, onboard and offboard users, coordinate with vendors, and manage website support.
- Maintain website documentation, access records, vendor contacts, and technical processes.
- Provide occasional after-hours support for critical website outages, security incidents, or high-priority operational issues.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, user accounts, and IT operations for franchise partners and HQ staff.
- Create and maintain clear SOPs, checklists, and knowledge base articles.
Requirements
- Experience in IT support, systems administration, technical support, or a similar role.
- 1+ year of hands-on WordPress experience.
- Working knowledge of WordPress administration and common website technical issues.
- Basic understanding of hosting, DNS, SSL, domains, backups, staging environments, and website infrastructure.
- Experience with user access management, SaaS administration, MFA, and basic security best practices.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace administration.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Strong documentation, organization, troubleshooting, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors, internal teams, franchise partners, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Clear communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
