About the role
- Parking Attendant supporting Indigo, a global parking management and urban mobility company. Enforcing parking rules, assisting customers, maintaining equipment, and cleaning assigned locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist guests with general information and directions
- Direct patients, visitors, staff and others to appropriate parking areas
- Conduct on-foot/electric scooter parking enforcement throughout parking lots
- Monitor compliance with parking regulations and address unauthorized or improperly parked vehicles according to company policies
- Take ownership and leadership of parking operations for assigned locations while abiding by Indigo standards and norms
- Assist customers in person and remotely with automated parking equipment
- Complete and assist with minor equipment repairs
- Assure cleanliness of parking equipment
- Clean work and parking areas, including key sanitization, litter pickup, wiping touch points and dusting
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools for making repairs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Successful candidates will be required to submit a Criminal Background and Driver abstract check
