Responsibilities
Systematically identify, develop and manage relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
Lead efforts to identify, develop and maintain relationships with KOLs at varying levels of engagement
Provide fair, balanced and accurate scientific and clinical information to internal and external stakeholders
Serve as a scientific resource by acquiring and maintaining deep therapeutic area expertise in CNS
Gather, analyze and communicate actionable medical insights from peer-to-peer interactions with HCPs
Study and understand the medical landscape to contribute to the implementation of medical plans
Requirements
Advanced scientific degree required (Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent)
Strong expertise in CNS/neuroscience highly preferred
Full professional proficiency in English and French (spoken and written)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in clinical settings and/or the pharmaceutical industry in one or more of the following areas: Sleep Medicine, Psychiatry, Neurology
Prior experience in a field-based medical role required
Experience as an MSL, medical advisor or similar role within the Canadian pharmaceutical industry required
Experience with payers, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies or formulary committees is an asset
