About the role
- AI Systems Architect building next-generation voice, chatbot, and document-validation automation for Jerry.ai’s AI-powered asset-management platform. Scaling LLM systems across insurance and new asset verticals.
Responsibilities
- Set the technical bar and architecture for chatbot systems
- Shape prompt-engineering team priorities while keeping architecture scalable
- Build automations for record disputes, email/callout reduction, and document validation
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies including voicebots and computer-use agents
- Decide which AI investments to pursue and build and ship systems to production
- Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation
Requirements
- 5+ years in software engineering
- Ideally experience at an early-stage startup with end-to-end ownership of outcomes
- Hands-on depth with AI and ability to evaluate competing architectures or approaches
- Experience putting LLM-based systems into production
- Experience with evals, regressions, latency, cost, and failure-handling
- Experience building with newly released AI models
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Nest.js, React, GraphQL, AWS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini
- Must currently reside in an eligible location: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
