About the role
- Ice Cream Scooper serving ice cream at events throughout Ontario. Engaging with customers and managing cash transactions while maintaining a clean and friendly scoop truck environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, serve ice cream traveling to various fairs and businesses across Ontario for events.
- Provide information to customers.
- Replenishing supplies as needed.
- Handle cash-making change.
- Receive and process payments by cash, credit card or automatic debit.
- Conduct sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce.
- Maintaining a superbly clean atmosphere of the scoop truck.
- Physical aspects of the role include standing/walking and bending at the waist.
- In some instances, you will need to be able to lift and/or move objects weighing at least 11.3 kg (25 lbs).
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills.
- Mature and reliable with strong communication skills and work ethic.
- Flexible; crew members must be available to work a variety of shifts on days, evening, weekends and statutory holidays.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work evenings, weekend shifts as well as federal and civic holidays.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be of age to stay overnight in hotels.
