About the role

  • Ice Cream Scooper serving ice cream at events throughout Ontario. Engaging with customers and managing cash transactions while maintaining a clean and friendly scoop truck environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, serve ice cream traveling to various fairs and businesses across Ontario for events.
  • Provide information to customers.
  • Replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Handle cash-making change.
  • Receive and process payments by cash, credit card or automatic debit.
  • Conduct sales transactions through internet-based electronic commerce.
  • Maintaining a superbly clean atmosphere of the scoop truck.
  • Physical aspects of the role include standing/walking and bending at the waist.
  • In some instances, you will need to be able to lift and/or move objects weighing at least 11.3 kg (25 lbs).

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Mature and reliable with strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Flexible; crew members must be available to work a variety of shifts on days, evening, weekends and statutory holidays.
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work evenings, weekend shifts as well as federal and civic holidays.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be of age to stay overnight in hotels.
