Responsibilities
Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments.
Diagnose and resolve performance, security, and network connectivity issues.
Design and implement custom technology solutions in collaboration with clients.
Deploy workstations, servers, and various network equipment.
Provide advanced-level technical support and ensure thorough ticket follow-up.
Document changes, interventions, and technical procedures.
Actively participate in architecture reviews and improvement recommendations.
Leverage automation and scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to improve efficiency.
Make occasional on-site visits to clients to support projects.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience in IT network and systems administration.
Strong proficiency with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and Windows Server.
Proficient with: Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Hyper-V/VMware, firewalls (SonicWALL, WatchGuard), enterprise antivirus, and backup systems (BackupExec, Veeam).
Hands-on experience administering Proxmox VE virtualization environments, including VM and container management, storage, and high availability.
Knowledge of Citrix and Cisco products is an asset.
Experience managing cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an asset.
Valid driver's license required for occasional travel.
Fluency in French (written, spoken, comprehension) required.
English is an asset, as some clients are English-only.
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are an asset.
