About the role
- CRO Specialist responsible for A/B testing and conversion optimization for an international e-commerce brand. Driving measurable improvements in conversion rates and customer experience through data-driven strategies.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments across Shopify stores, including landing pages, product pages, collections, checkout flows, and other critical customer touchpoints.
- Own the CRO roadmap by identifying conversion opportunities and prioritizing experiments based on potential business impact.
- Develop data-driven hypotheses and testing strategies focused on increasing conversion rates, revenue, customer engagement, and retention.
- Apply deep Shopify knowledge to optimize store performance, user experience, and conversion funnels.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketers to create, implement, and evaluate test variations.
- Analyze customer behavior using tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, Hotjar, and other analytics and behavioral tracking platforms.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations based on test results.
- Create clear and detailed reports covering experiment performance, insights, learnings, and business impact.
- Continuously improve customer journeys through ongoing experimentation, analysis, and optimization.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and digital experimentation.
- Deep hands-on experience working with Shopify and Shopify Plus stores is mandatory.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, analyzing, and scaling successful A/B testing programs in e-commerce environments.
- Strong understanding of CRO frameworks, UX principles, customer psychology, and e-commerce conversion funnels.
- Experience with A/B testing platforms, analytics tools, and behavioral analysis solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Experience working closely with designers and developers to implement testing variations.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.
- Availability during CET business hours.
- Strong written and spoken English.
