About the role
- Project Manager delivering enterprise IT infrastructure projects for Long View, a North American IT provider. Managing budgets, vendors, risks, implementation teams, and client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage project plans to meet client needs, budgets, and desired outcomes
- Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and required resources with Long View business units
- Manage project budgets, team resources, communications, and project plans
- Monitor and report project progress and problems
- Identify and resolve risks and issues promptly
- Escalate concerns to the project team and senior management when appropriate
- Recommend solutions to clients
- Direct and support implementation teams and review team deliverables
- Organize and lead meetings, communicate objectives, and distribute meeting summaries
- Oversee management reports for specified projects
- Manage project-related vendor relationships and monitor statements of work
- Serve as the primary interface to client business units throughout all project phases
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering IT projects for enterprise clients
- Proven experience managing projects in core infrastructure and data center
- Experience with M365 rollouts and upgrades
- Experience with Windows server and desktop upgrades
- Experience with cloud migrations
- Excellent knowledge of project management principles, governance frameworks, stakeholder management, status reporting, escalation procedures, and budget tracking and management
- Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions, and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
- Self-motivation and ability to be assertive
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Exceptional time management, writing, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and MS Project
- PMI training or PMP certification
- Previous experience in professional or consulting services
