About the role
- Finance co-op supporting reconciliations, expenses, payments, and financial projects at Magnet Forensics, a digital investigative software company. Hybrid-flexible Winter 2027 placement.
Responsibilities
- Support the finance team in executing strategic plans
- Prepare reconciliations for the monthly GL close for the Controllership team
- Review and approve expenses for the Accounts Payable team
- Enter bank information for payments where applicable
- Support special projects as required
Requirements
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business or Economics
- Accounting specialization is considered an asset but is not required
- Analytical mindset and ability to find solutions to complex problems
- Enjoy analyzing large datasets and building financial models
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Satisfactory completion of a background check
