About the role

  • Développeur React/React Native construisant des applications mobiles pour les projets technologiques canadiens de Maplr. Contribution à l’architecture, aux pratiques Agile et à la communauté technique.

Responsibilities

  • Bring your technical expertise and soft skills to Canada’s leading technology projects
  • Participate in designing technical architecture
  • Develop in an Agile environment
  • Share development best practices with the Maplr community
  • Suggest improvements and contribute to the community’s ongoing development and future as an active Maplr member
  • Train new Maplrs and participate in their technical assessments
  • Take part in exclusive Maplr community events

Requirements

  • You have completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • You have at least 5 years of software development experience, including 3 or more years with React Native and TypeScript
  • You are proficient in React, React Native, TypeScript, Redux, and the React UI/React Native ecosystems
  • You have experience consuming APIs (RESTful/GraphQL) in mobile applications
  • You have extensive experience building mobile applications, as well as debugging, profiling, and optimizing performance
  • You have experience working in Agile (Scrum) teams
  • You are proficient with linting tools (ESLint) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, AppCenter, npm)
  • You can independently learn new technologies and ways of working, including secure and clean development principles
  • An asset: experience with iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development
  • An asset: experience with test automation (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Jest, Detox)
  • An asset: knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • An asset: a good understanding of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
