About the role

  • IT BI & Data Solution Developer at Michelin developing scalable data pipelines and BI solutions. Collaborating with teams to deliver insights and optimize data processes in a digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to integrate various sources of data into easy to consume data products
  • Design and build reporting data models, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
  • Ensure data quality, performance optimization, observability and security across all developed solutions, following best practices in cloud-based data architecture
  • Stay up to date with new features and technologies to continuously improve existing data pipelines, data models and reporting tools
  • Create and update solution documentation such as data lineage, data dictionary, metrics calculation logic etc.

Requirements

  • Technical or bachelor's degree in computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in IT industry
  • 2 years in data solutions development
  • Experience building ETL processes and data solutions
  • Good experience with programming language such as SQL, Python and DAX
  • Experience with MS SSIS, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory and Databricks
  • Experience with PowerBI or other reporting tools
  • Good understanding of modern BI & Analytics architecture in cloud environments
  • Ease in a bilingual environment (French and English)
  • Curiosity about new technologies, particularly AI
  • Strong skills in data analysis and business analysis
  • Proficiency in data integration and deployment of data systems
  • Ability to solve problems and optimize performance
  • Knowledge of data security best practices
  • Client-oriented mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable
  • Commitment to continuous learning
