- IT BI & Data Solution Developer at Michelin developing scalable data pipelines and BI solutions. Collaborating with teams to deliver insights and optimize data processes in a digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to integrate various sources of data into easy to consume data products
- Design and build reporting data models, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, performance optimization, observability and security across all developed solutions, following best practices in cloud-based data architecture
- Stay up to date with new features and technologies to continuously improve existing data pipelines, data models and reporting tools
- Create and update solution documentation such as data lineage, data dictionary, metrics calculation logic etc.
Requirements
- Technical or bachelor's degree in computer science
- 5+ years of experience in IT industry
- 2 years in data solutions development
- Experience building ETL processes and data solutions
- Good experience with programming language such as SQL, Python and DAX
- Experience with MS SSIS, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory and Databricks
- Experience with PowerBI or other reporting tools
- Good understanding of modern BI & Analytics architecture in cloud environments
- Ease in a bilingual environment (French and English)
- Curiosity about new technologies, particularly AI
- Strong skills in data analysis and business analysis
- Proficiency in data integration and deployment of data systems
- Ability to solve problems and optimize performance
- Knowledge of data security best practices
- Client-oriented mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
