About the role
- Freelance CAD Engineer training AI agents in real CAD environments by designing part geometry and evaluating solutions. Supporting CFD engineers with simulation-ready geometry for a global platform.
Responsibilities
- Train and evaluate AI agents operating inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks
- Design part geometry and build reference solutions
- Judge AI agents’ attempts
- Work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry created
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling using CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar
- Experience preparing geometry for simulation using ANSYS or similar is a strong plus
- An active professional CAD licence of your own (required)
- Comfortable with Python and GitHub
- English at B2 level or above
- Tasks estimated at around 10–20 hours per week during active phases; workload is not guaranteed and applies only while the project is active
