About the role

  • Product Analyst transforming stakeholder ideas into user stories at nesto. Collaborating with clients and developers to enhance mortgage technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation by transforming stakeholder ideas into user stories, feature scopes, and technical requirements
  • Own the interface by creating customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Use SQL queries to investigate system behaviour, navigate databases, and resolve reported issues
  • Work side-by-side with front-end and back-end developers to ensure technical feasibility of new features
  • Build close relationships with clients to gather requirements and champion product improvements
  • Implement system changes and configurations to tailor lending solutions to partners' business needs

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in computer science, business, information technology, statistics, or a related field
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, maintaining tight feedback loops between internal and external stakeholders
  • Natural "owner" mindset with the initiative to identify pain points and drive feature ideas from concept to completion
  • Proficient in SQL to investigate system behavior and navigate databases independently
  • Ability to distill vague business requests into structured technical requirements
