About the role
- Front-end software engineer building cloud-based, real-time digital solutions for NOV’s oil services operations. Developing Angular/TypeScript applications and supporting the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Possess a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development preferred
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
- Investigate, analyze, correct, and document reported defects
- Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical proficiency and ability to understand and troubleshoot complex algorithms
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to new problems
- SPA / full-stack software development experience with Angular/TypeScript
- .NET development experience desired
- Experience with multi-threaded programming and thread synchronization desired
- Understanding of memory management and algorithms versus memory performance desired
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C#, C++, or Java, and object-oriented concepts desired
