About the role

  • Product Manager identifying and validating new products, markets, partnerships, and business models for OpenSesame’s AI-powered learning marketplace. Driving customer experiments, roadmaps, pilots, and growth recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and validate opportunities for new customer and business value across products, markets, partnerships, business models, and the learning/workforce ecosystem
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews focused on unmet needs, buying behavior, and enterprise learning trends
  • Research AI, workforce development, skills, learning technology, and adjacent markets
  • Build and present prioritized opportunity maps supported by customer, market, and business evidence
  • Create prototypes and concepts to test high-potential opportunities with customers
  • Run customer experiments using prototypes, interviews, data, and other tests
  • Assess customer value, differentiation, market potential, feasibility, and business models
  • Test pricing, packaging, partnership, and distribution hypotheses
  • Recommend which opportunities to advance, modify, or stop based on evidence
  • Create roadmaps defining experiments, investments, customer problems, strategic rationale, business hypotheses, success measures, and next experiments
  • Launch cross-functional initiatives based on validated opportunities
  • Deliver positioning, pricing, packaging, partnership, and go-to-market recommendations
  • Move strategic opportunities through customer validation and market testing
  • Launch or pilot new products, offerings, partnerships, or business models with customers
  • Measure adoption, willingness to pay, revenue potential, retention impact, and strategic differentiation
  • Present investment recommendations for scaling, iterating, or stopping initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven career examples demonstrating the ability to perform this job
  • Experience building systems, driving alignment, and creating impact at scale
  • Track record of follow-through, curiosity, and results
  • Self-starter mindset and comfort with experimentation
  • Ability to use AI extensively for research, analysis, prototyping, and experimentation
  • Ability to combine customer insight, market intelligence, emerging technology, and commercial thinking
  • Ability to anticipate future workforce and learning trends
  • Ability to validate opportunities through customer and market testing
  • Ability to develop product strategy and drive new growth
  • Ability to deliver evidence-based recommendations and investment decisions
