About the role
- Senior full-stack developer modernizing Alberta government portals from Adxstudio to Microsoft Power Pages. Migrating data, forms, integrations, and legacy code using Dataverse and AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy Adxstudio portal architecture and identify custom configurations (adx_ entities)
- Contribute to field research and lead technical discovery
- Deliver solution design artifacts
- Use Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot to translate legacy .NET/C# business logic into Liquid Web Templates
- Generate custom JavaScript and refactor CSS to modern standards
- Migrate data using Power Platform CLI (pac ppa) and Dataverse migration tools
- Recreate Entity Forms, Web Forms, and Lists as Power Pages Multistep Forms
- Use AI prompt engineering to accelerate field validation scripts and optimize code
- Maintain integrations for payment processing, authentication frameworks, and SharePoint
- Map legacy security roles to Dataverse Table Permissions and Web Roles
- Perform UAT and debug migration errors using AI diagnostic workflows
- Support launch activities and maintain technical documentation
- Onboard incoming technical team members
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Adxstudio Portals
- Deep expertise transitioning Adxstudio systems to Microsoft Power Pages
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and the Enhanced Data Model
- Experience analyzing, migrating, and optimizing entity forms, Liquid templates, web files, and custom JavaScript code
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot for Power Pages, and GitHub Copilot
- Experience translating legacy .NET/C# business logic into Liquid Web Templates
- Experience with Power Platform CLI (pac ppa) and Dataverse migration tools
- Experience modernizing Entity Forms, Web Forms, and Lists into Power Pages Multistep Forms
- AI prompt engineering experience
- Experience with payment processing, authentication frameworks, and SharePoint integrations
- Knowledge of Dataverse Table Permissions and Web Roles
- Experience with user acceptance testing, debugging, deployment, technical documentation, and onboarding technical team members
