About the role

  • QA Automation Specialist ensuring quality and reliability for cloud-based applications at PayFacto. Collaborating with frontend and backend teams to maintain automated test suites.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for cloud applications
  • Implement and execute end-to-end (E2E), integration and regression tests
  • Collaborate with frontend (Vue3.js) and backend teams from the early stages of development
  • Integrate and optimize automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and recommend improvements
  • Analyze test results, investigate failures and work with developers to resolve issues
  • Contribute to defining team QA best practices, standards and processes
  • Ensure a high level of quality for features used daily by thousands of merchants

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA automation for cloud software
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium (Playwright strongly preferred)
  • Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, APIs, browsers, frontend frameworks)
  • Experience testing modern web applications and REST APIs
  • Familiarity with CI/CD environments and automated test execution
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the quality of complex systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience testing cloud-based POS systems
  • Knowledge of test frameworks in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with performance, load or security testing
