About the role
- QA Automation Specialist ensuring quality and reliability for cloud-based applications at PayFacto. Collaborating with frontend and backend teams to maintain automated test suites.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for cloud applications
- Implement and execute end-to-end (E2E), integration and regression tests
- Collaborate with frontend (Vue3.js) and backend teams from the early stages of development
- Integrate and optimize automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
- Identify gaps in test coverage and recommend improvements
- Analyze test results, investigate failures and work with developers to resolve issues
- Contribute to defining team QA best practices, standards and processes
- Ensure a high level of quality for features used daily by thousands of merchants
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA automation for cloud software
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium (Playwright strongly preferred)
- Good understanding of web technologies (HTTP, APIs, browsers, frontend frameworks)
- Experience testing modern web applications and REST APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and automated test execution
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the quality of complex systems
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience testing cloud-based POS systems
- Knowledge of test frameworks in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with performance, load or security testing
